The best way to protect your skin from this summer's strong sun rays is to use some sort of sunblock. No matter how fair or dark your skin, protecting your skin from the sun is an important part of overall skin health. Personally, I look for three things in my sunblock: quality protection, price and preferably something natural like the one shown above. My choice is Active Block SPF 30, for a whopping $15. It's an effective and natural solid sunblock that goes on clear and leaves no white residue.
When shopping for a sunblock, look for one that is SPF 30. This means that it blocks out at least 97% of UVB rays. You can easily pick this up from your local drugstore. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get the right protection for your skin. When shopping, look for the term "broad spectrum"; sunblocks with this term not only protect you from UVB rays, but also UVA rays which cause signs of aging like wrinkles, collagen breakdown and dark spots. Isn't it great to know that you can get sunblock with this featured benefit right at your local drugstore for a bargain price?
But not all sunblocks are created equal. There are some that work best for different types of people. There are sunblocks that are best for swimmers, athletes and some for the rest of us who just want ease of application. Click here to see the best sunblock for your lifestyle!
But tell me, what kind of sun protection do you use?
