First Lady Fashion

In case you missed the hoopla, Michelle Obama created a fashion frenzy this week. Appearing in a stylish, black and white sundress on The View, our potential First Lady showed off both her political - and style - acumen. The dress (see it here) wasn't a fancy designer dud, but an off-the-rack number sold by White House/Black Market for an affordable $148. The cute dress, of course, promptly sold out of stores, and all eyes are on Ms. Obama to see what she'll wear next.

In a political atmosphere of $2000-a-plate dinners and $400 haircuts (by men, no less), Michelle Obama deftly showed us that fiscal restraint can be fabulous. Hail to the chief!
