Guide Review - LashBlast Mascara
Though initially turned off by the large, bright orange tube, I was pleasantly surprised by the thick applicator brush concealed within the crayon-like tube. The patent-pending full brush makes application smooth and effortless, and it easily separates lashes as it thickens them. While inner or lower lash mascara application requires deft maneuvering of the thick brush, you can hit most lashes easily. A second or third swipe of the applicator over my lashes did not result in anticipated clumps or "snagging" of the brush.
For daytime, one coat of mascara was sufficient for darkening and thickening of my eyelashes, and I was extremely pleased by the lack of smudging and flaking (a problem I have had with BADgal). Removal of mascara was fairly effortless and mess-free.
Other users of LashBlast had similar positive results, with 60% of MakeupAlley.com users stating that they would purchase LashBlast again.
At less than half the price, with a fantastic thick brush and easy application, CoverGirl's new LashBlast mascara is BADgal’s first real drugstore rival, making it my latest must-have beauty bargain.
