Add a jewel-toned shirt, like the one pictured here (purple will look especially good with gray), and throw in a belt with a splashy buckle or decadent material such as snakeskin. Finish with a pair of rounded heels and your old suit will suddenly look very Fall 2008.
Tip: Don’t toss a suit skirt because the shape isn’t right – a good tailor can easily make a straight or flared skirt into a pencil cut.
